Robert Lee

Robert Lee is beginning his 21st year with the Missoula Writing Collaborative. Highlights include 20 years working with AERIE magazine students at Missoula Big Sky high school, three autumns teaching Haida students in Hydaburg, Alaska, and nine years working with students in Ovando’s two room school house. Robert‘s 1997 novel, Guiding Elliott was reissued by Mountain Press in 2015. His chapbook, “Black Bear Holds a Hole in His Paws” chronicles his adventures in Hydaburg. His poetry collection, BREATH, was recently released by Foothills Press. Robert is especially proud of the many friendships he maintains with young people whom he has taught through M.W.C.
