Robert Lee, author of Black Bear Holds a Hole in His Paws and the recently re-released novel, Guiding Elliott has published work in CutBank, cold drill, Talking River Review, Montana Magazine, MO: Writings from the River (now Front Range), Northern Journeys, and in the anthologies, New Montana Stories, and Poems across the Big Sky. He has taught for more than fifteen years with the Missoula Writing Collaborative with residencies in Arlee, Ovando, Potomac, Lowell Elementary and Big Sky High School. He serves on the advisory board for AERIE INTERNATIONAL. From 2008 to 2010, Robert enjoyed three month-long residencies in Hydaburg Alaska. In 2010, He was honored to be chosen Writer-in-Residence for Island Institute in Sitka Alaska. His essay, “Mid-summer Musings,” was nominated for a Pushcart prize.
