Chris Dombrowski

Chris Dombrowski is the author of two full length collections of poetry, most recently Earth Again (Wayne State University Press), which was named runner-up for ForeWord Magazine’s Poetry Book of the Year. A recipient of awards from the Associated Writing Programs, the Matthew Hansen Endowment, and the UCross Foundation, Chris has worked as a river-guide, teacher, and freelance writer publishing nonfiction in such magazines as Orion, Outside, The Sun, and others. He has taught creative writing at Interlochen Center for the Arts, University of Montana, and in the 406 Writers’ Workshop, which he currently directs. His first book of nonfiction, Body of Water, is forthcoming in 2016 from Milkweed Editions.
