Chris Dombrowski

Chris Dombrowski Chris Dombrowski is the author of a chapbook of poems, Fragments with Dusk in Them, and a full-length collection, By Cold Water (Wayne State University Press), which was a finalist for ForeWord Magazine's Poetry Book of the Year. His poems have appeared in such journals as Colorado Review, Crazyhorse, Denver Quarterly, Ninth Letter, and Poetry, and have been anthologized in Joyful Noise: An Anthology of American Spiritual Poetry and Making Poems: Forty Poems with Commentary by the Poets, among others. A recipient of awards from the Associated Writing Programs, the Matthew Hansen Endowment, and the UCross Foundation, Chris has worked as a river-guide, creative writing instructor, and freelance writer publishing nonfiction in such magazines as Orion, Outside, The Sun, and others. He lives with his family in Missoula.
