MWC featured in NEA Arts

Mark Gibbons (left), Jeremy Smith (center), and Jennifer Greene (right) were joined by Robert Lee, Rob Schlegel, and Carole Addis, a teacher at Lowell School, on a panel at the 2007 Montana Festival of the Book on "Teaching Creative Writing in the Classroom."

Student readings happened all over western Montana in the spring of 07 -- Here, resident-writer Claire Hibbs introduces young poets from Arlee at the May reading at Hangin' Art gallery.

Resident-writer Robert Lee lends support at the reading in the library.


The Rattlesnake Reading (complete with signature post-reading gondola rides) was standing room only at the Missoula Art Museum.

Megan McNamer and Sheryl Noethe traveled to Hawai'i in March 2007 at the invitation of the Pacific Writers' Connection, an organization seeking to establish a new writers-in-the-schools program in Honolulu. Here, Sheryl reads selections of her poetry at a meeting of the PWC Board of Directors.
